Janne Saarikko is the founder and Business Creative of Ekana Innovation (www.ekana.fi), a company specializing in creating first-in-the-industry business and marketing solutions, with emphasis in combining new branding knowledge, traditional marketing methods and social media marketing into creative business strategies.

He is also the Editor of Design Finland – Finnish Design web publication (designfinland.blogs.com), a well-known blogger in Finnish leading financial media Kauppalehti, and active player in international social media marketing enviroment.

Janne has been involved with exclusive marketing and product development activities around the globe for 20 years, serving successful companies such as SSH Communications Security, Creative Labs, Bates Advertising, Saatchi & Saatchi, Toptronics, Tocoman and Direction Helsinki. Currently Janne is working with number of international and domestic projects for ICT, design, entertainment, construction and culture industries.

Janne is a co-founder, board member and former CEO of Riqq Innovations Ltd., a company improving the information flow and communication within the construction industry, a co-founder and board member at the leading Finnish financial media community Piksu Ltd.  He is a board member or advisory in a number of other companies.
